Reporting a problem

Tell us which tool you used, your browser and operating system, what you expected to happen and the steps that led to the problem. If there is an error message, remove any personal details before including it.

If you can, explain the problem using the example family built into the converter. That helps us understand what happened without seeing your private research.

Keep family information private

Please do not send GEDCOM files, saved projects, private family records or screenshots containing personal information. Saved projects contain the original unmasked genealogy, even when the displayed tree is masked.

Your family research stays in the converter. This form sends only what you type here when you choose Send message; it cannot attach or read your family file. We use Resend to deliver messages to our support mailbox.

Suggestions and corrections

If a guide needs updating, send us its web address and tell us what has changed. If you have an idea for a feature, tell us what you’d like to make. Please leave out relatives’ names, dates and other private details.
